Panzerotto Blues was founded by Gianni Perillo in 2014 when he moved to London from Italy, with the desire to export Pugliese cuisine in a unique, authentic and original way!
The Panzerotto – pizza pocket – is an Italian street food classic which has humble origins. Created with the leftover bread dough, to which was added flour, oil and water, today it is made in a variety of flavours with many different types of flour – and it is the perfect way of eating pizza on the go! In essence it is a 10inch Pizza base with a filling of your choice that is folded over then deep fried – totally delicious! In addition Panzerotto Blues has introduced a deliciously crisp, thin, hand-stretched signature 12″ Stonebaked Pizza topped with the freshest ingredients. The menu is ever-evolving with Gianni’s inventive takes on new panzerotto and pizza variations!
