Award-winning, artisan gin hand-crafted in Tooting Market’s very own distillery and cocktail bar! Graveney is organic-certified and uses natural ingredients to produce their signature gins: Grove Fever (infused with rosemary and thyme), Graveney Gin (pink grapefruit, baobab and goji) and Figgies Marsh (fig, vanilla and honey) – with more variations coming soon! Graveney handcrafts small-batches in their traditional copper stills, producing exceptionally tasty, premium gin.
Victoria Christie was the original founder of Graveney Gin, creating the first gin on her kitchen table in Furzedown. She kindly passed the Graveney baton to new owners Raj and Mark – who met at the University of London over 20 years ago – in summer 2021. Victoria built a much-loved community brand from the ground up, and Raj and Mark are focused on further building on the strong core values of quality, organic and supporting community. Graveney’s original recipes and premium quality remain exactly the same, and Jamie, their long-time distiller, continues to be at the 40L Copper Pot stills a few times a week!
The new owners are bringing their own distinct flavour to Graveney by teaming a long-time interest in distillation with diverse backgrounds – Raj is the alchemist whilst Mark’s experience is in media, previously leading two BBC Radio stations. Both have a strong local connection and love meeting their loyal customers, especially at their weekly gin tastings where they enjoy having a chat and sharing their story.
Graveney also regularly support charitable initiatives through their business, with 10% of all profits being donated to conservation charity Gearing Up for Gorillas and 10% discount offered for NHS staff. Gin Tasting Masterclasses are held every Thursday night at 7.30pm and Graveney hosts regular live music nights!
